Discover how mastering just a few key habits can transform your day, skyrocket your productivity, and give you control over your life and business.
One thing I’ve learned from training over five million people across the world—from Fortune 500 executives to hungry entrepreneurs—is this: success doesn’t come from working harder. It comes from mastering your time.
Every person on this planet has the same 24 hours in a day. The difference between those who win and those who stay stuck isn’t talent, luck, or even resources. It’s how they manage their minutes.
Let me tell you something personal. When I came to this country as a poor Cuban immigrant, I had nothing—not a dime, not a word of English. But what I did have was urgency. I knew that every minute wasted was a step backward. So I became obsessed with getting the most out of every single day.
Here’s the truth: If you don’t control your time, your time will control you. Distractions will steal your dreams. Busyness will replace progress. And one day, you’ll look back and wonder where it all went.
So how do top performers win the battle against the clock? They follow a simple, powerful strategy—and I’m going to share it with you now.
1. Start with Intentional Planning
Winners don’t wake up wondering what to do. They plan the night before. Every evening, write down your top 3 priorities for the next day. These aren’t just tasks—they’re outcomes. What will move the needle? What will create progress? Focus there.
2. Time Block Like Your Life Depends On It
Because it does.
Block out chunks of time on your calendar for focused work—no interruptions, no multitasking. One task. One goal. One block of time. This is how billionaires operate. I’ve seen it, I’ve lived it, and I teach it.
Protect these blocks like your future depends on it—because it does.

3. Eliminate the Energy Vampires
That’s right. Some people, apps, emails, and distractions are sucking the energy and time out of your day. Identify them and eliminate or limit your exposure. Guard your environment like it’s your bank account—because time is more valuable than money. You can get money back. You’ll never get your time back.
4. Use the 80/20 Rule Ruthlessly
Eighty percent of your results come from just twenty percent of your efforts. Identify those high-impact actions—and double down. Cut the rest. Don’t just be busy—be effective.
I teach my coaching clients to ask this question daily: “What’s the one thing I can do today that will make everything else easier or unnecessary?” Do that first.
5. Own Your Morning, Win Your Day
If you win the morning, you own the day. Wake up earlier. Move your body. Feed your mind. Don’t start your day with emails or scrolling—start it with momentum. I call it the “Power Hour.” Just one hour focused on you: learning, planning, preparing. It will change your life.
Look—I’ve been broke. I’ve been rich. I’ve had time freedom and I’ve had burnout. And let me tell you something: success without time freedom is a prison.
You were not put on this earth to be busy. You were put here to be great. Master your minutes. Live with intention. And watch how fast everything in your life begins to change.
The clock is ticking. The question is—what will you do with your time?
